Meet Phil

Phil trained at the University of the West of England, graduating with a BEd (Hons) in English and Drama. He has played various musical theatre roles, he also sings and plays drums. After university he enjoyed a varied career, producing and directing at Sky Sports Television and also working for Network 10 in Sydney.

He returned to the UK and to Cranleigh Prep School in 2010, where he is currently Head of Drama. He has always had a passion for musical theatre, where recently he was an Associate Producer for Hugh Wooldridge's The Best of….Rock Musicals at the Hammersmith Apollo in May 2019. This was a musicals showcase, raising money for The Charlie Waller Trust (charliewaller.org), a charity set up in memory of Phil’s brother that offers support and education to those affected by depression and mental illness.
