Meet Kath

Kath started Ballet, Tap and Modern dancing at the age of five. She has trained and taken graded exams in ISTD Tap & Modern, RAD Ballet, LAMDA and ABRSM Singing.

At age 17, Kath realised that she wanted to pursue a career in Dance and Performing Arts. In 2015, Kath auditioned for several Musical Theatre colleges including, The Urdang Academy, London Studio Centre, Laine Theatre Arts, Mountview Academy and Arts Educational. Kath gained places to four out of five schools and chose to start her journey into professional training at The Urdang Academy in Central London.

Whilst training, Kath has played various roles such as Lola La Mar in Copacabana, The Witch in Into The Woods and Judy in 9-5 for her third year musical.

In June 2018, Kath graduated from The Urdang Academy with a Level 6 National Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. After graduating, Kath signed with Cowley, Knox and Guy, a talent agency representing clients in all fields of the entertainment industry.

Since graduating, Kath has performed as a backup dancer for Dua Lipa at the 2018 Brit Awards and completed contracts in 2019 and 2020 with Carnival Cruise Line as a Singer/Dancer, travelling the USA, Bahamas and Caribbean.

During the pandemic, Kath has completed her DDE Teacher qualification with the ISTD in Tap dance and is currently completing her DDE course in Modern Dance.
